Discovery Days is for kids ages 3-5 and provides kindergarten readiness for your child and child care while you work.
Learning Ventures Child Care programs are for for school-age children in grades K - 6th grade. We provide child care before- and after-school from 6:30 am - 6 pm at each Elementary. Non-School Days are at Centerview Elementary.
Preschool prepares children for kindergarten by incorporating literacy, math, science, social studies, art, social/emotional development, and physical development into its curriculum. Preschool is aligned with the SLP Schools kindergarten program.

Parent and child may separate during class time.
Join Naturalist Kyle Te Poel for a morning walk in this creekside woodland. Even in the heart of the city, many species of birds spend their summer nesting here! We'll not only identify the birds themselves, but listen for their songs, watch for nesting behavior, and perhaps even see some juvenile birds fresh from the nest. Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray if you choose.
Children age 10 and older may also register for this program if they attending with a registered parent/adult.
