Discovery Days is for kids ages 3-5 and provides kindergarten readiness for your child and child care while you work.
Learning Ventures Child Care programs are for for school-age children in grades K - 6th grade. We provide child care before- and after-school from 6:30 am - 6 pm at each Elementary. Non-School Days are at Centerview Elementary.
Preschool prepares children for kindergarten by incorporating literacy, math, science, social studies, art, social/emotional development, and physical development into its curriculum. Preschool is aligned with the SLP Schools kindergarten program.

Summer 2025 and School Year 2025-2026 Registration opens for families on March 3, 2025 at 8:30 am. Children must be in Grades K-6 to register for Learning Ventures. Families who are currently in the Learning Ventures program will have priority until March 16 to be confirmed in the program.
Families may still register for the current school year program.
Learning Ventures Child Care programs provide high quality services that will grow with your child from kindergarten through sixth grade. Our programs provide child care before- and after-school from 6:30 am - 6 pm, at each of the Elementary Schools in the Spring Lake Park School District, with options on most Non-School Days and Summer. Learning Ventures offers flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of your family!
Registration Fee: A $25 registration fee is required when your contract is approved and is non-refundable.
New for Summer 2025 - A non-refundable deposit will be required at registration in the amount of $150 for each child approved in the Summer program.
and $100 for each child in the School Year program. The deposit will be applied to your first week of child care Summer and/or School Year depending upon the contract that is being approved.
