Discovery Days is for kids ages 3-5 and provides kindergarten readiness for your child and child care while you work.
Learning Ventures Child Care programs are for for school-age children in grades K - 6th grade. We provide child care before- and after-school from 6:30 am - 6 pm at each Elementary. Non-School Days are at Centerview Elementary.
Preschool prepares children for kindergarten by incorporating literacy, math, science, social studies, art, social/emotional development, and physical development into its curriculum. Preschool is aligned with the SLP Schools kindergarten program.

Summer 2024 and School Year 2024-2025 Registration opened for families on March 1, 2024 at 8:30 am. Children must be 3 or 4 by September 1, 2024 to register for Discovery Days. Families who are currently in the Discovery Days program will have priority until March 11 to be confirmed in the program.

Discovery Days is part of our Learning Ventures Child Care program and follows the school-year calendar, except we are open on most days that school is closed. Children receive breakfast, hot lunch and an afternoon snack each day.
Where: Conveniently located at our Early Childhood wing of the District Services Center.
Flexible Scheduling: Three to five days per week, Monday through Friday. Full day and Partial day options are available.
