Discovery Days is for kids ages 3-5 and provides kindergarten readiness for your child and child care while you work.
Learning Ventures Child Care programs are for for school-age children in grades K - 6th grade. We provide child care before- and after-school from 6:30 am - 6 pm at each Elementary. Non-School Days are at Centerview Elementary.
Preschool prepares children for kindergarten by incorporating literacy, math, science, social studies, art, social/emotional development, and physical development into its curriculum. Preschool is aligned with the SLP Schools kindergarten program.

Parent and child may separate during class time.
It may still feel like summer to us, but bird migration is already underway for some species. At the same time, nesting birds are still mostly present, meaning we could see a wide variety of species. Nearly 100 species are on record at this location for the month of August, and we'll try spotting as many as we can as we explore the riverfront and the forest. Expect to walk a couple miles. Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray if you choose. Program is led by Naturalist Kyle Te Poel.
Children age 10 and older may also register for this program if they attending with a registered parent/adult.
