Discovery Days is for kids ages 3-5 and provides kindergarten readiness for your child and child care while you work.
Learning Ventures Child Care programs are for for school-age children in grades K - 6th grade. We provide child care before- and after-school from 6:30 am - 6 pm at each Elementary. Non-School Days are at Centerview Elementary.
Preschool prepares children for kindergarten by incorporating literacy, math, science, social studies, art, social/emotional development, and physical development into its curriculum. Preschool is aligned with the SLP Schools kindergarten program.

KinderCamp is a free opportunity for students entering kindergarten. Over three half-days, mornings (afternoons may be added if registrations are high, AM or PM (if added) will be determined by bus routes) August 20-22, your new kindergartner gets to practice coming to school. Students tour and get to know their school building, engage in fun activities and get introduced to general routines and expectations. KinderCamp is taught by teachers, and students meet and get to know various school staff each day.
KinderCamp is completely free and transportation is available. Please plan to participate and register by July 26, 2024. Don’t miss this opportunity to ease any anxiety your child might have starting school and help build confidence for the first day of Kindergarten.
