Discovery Days is for kids ages 3-5 and provides kindergarten readiness for your child and child care while you work.
Learning Ventures Child Care programs are for for school-age children in grades K - 6th grade. We provide child care before- and after-school from 6:30 am - 6 pm at each Elementary. Non-School Days are at Centerview Elementary.
Preschool prepares children for kindergarten by incorporating literacy, math, science, social studies, art, social/emotional development, and physical development into its curriculum. Preschool is aligned with the SLP Schools kindergarten program.

Parent and child may separate during class time.
Take a trip to the Wildlife Science Center and experience nature first-hand! In this two-hour program, you will be guided by a WSC staff member as you observe and learn about the various animals that call the Center home. You can expect to encounter wolves, bears, mountain lions, coyotes, foxes, tortoises, raccoons, and more. This program will also include a special presentation about Minnesota raptors such as hawks and owls.
This is an all-ages experience. Children must attend with a registered adult. Please register every member who is planning to attend.
This program will run rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather as much of this program will occur outdoors.
