Discovery Days is for kids ages 3-5 and provides kindergarten readiness for your child and child care while you work.
Learning Ventures Child Care programs are for for school-age children in grades K - 6th grade. We provide child care before- and after-school from 6:30 am - 6 pm at each Elementary. Non-School Days are at Centerview Elementary.
Preschool prepares children for kindergarten by incorporating literacy, math, science, social studies, art, social/emotional development, and physical development into its curriculum. Preschool is aligned with the SLP Schools kindergarten program.

SLPHS and SLP Community Ed are proud to partner in the support of private music lessons. Lessons are $34 per half an hour, offered by trimester in a "pack" of lessons payable in one fee. All lessons will be held in the SLPHS Music Suite. Financial support is available for students who qualify for Educational Benefits.
Flute Lessons:
Instructor: My name is Evah Engel and I'm currently teaching beginning band and general music at Westwood. I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a degree in Music Education and played flute in the Marching Band and Symphonic Band. I am excited to connect with students this year!
Number of lessons: 9 half hour lessons
Schedule: Please select which open lesson schedule you would like. If there are conflicts due to illness, other band commitments, etc. please work with Evah Engel/Ross Wolf on schedule adjustments after registering. Refunds will not be given for missed lessons at this time, so please work with the instructor to reschedule another lesson.
Cost: Trimester 1 Flute Lesson Pack is $306 ($34 per lesson)
