Spring Lake Park Schools Community Ed

Take the whole family on a summer nature adventure at Springbrook Nature Center! Ever wonder what lives in the local pond or lake? Well join a Springbrook Naturalist and find out! We will search Springbrook’s wetlands for critters from our boardwalks and docks and study what we catch. This family nature program is designed for children ages 4+ and their families. All children must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Take your family on a narrated summer sightseeing cruise down the Mississippi from Harriet Island in St. Paul. Sights along the way include: the St. Paul High Bridge, Pig’s Eye Cave, the Minnesota River mouth, Pike Island, and the timeless splendor of the mighty Mississippi River. Take advantage of this special group pricing through SLP Community Ed! Food and beverages will be available for purchase onboard (No outside food or beverages please). Please plan to arrive to the dock at 11:30am, cruise will depart at 12:00pm and return at approximately 1:30pm.

Join us at the National Sports Center for some on-ice family fun! This is a free program designed for beginning skaters and their families. Skate rentals will be available on site for $3/pair. Please register every adult and child that will be attending. All children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
