Over three half-days, mornings (afternoons may be added if registrations are high, AM or PM (if added) will be determined by bus routes) August 22-24, your new kindergartner gets to practice coming to school. Spanish Immersion Camp- Grades 1-6Hobbies, Life Skills, CultureStudents will practice their Spanish language skills through a variety of activities including: arts, STEM, sports, cultural, music, games, etc. Led by SLP Woodcrest Spanish Immersion teachers Lauren Hughes, Sharina Meinholz, and Laura Blasena.This camp is intended for students who are currently enrolled in a Spanish Immersion program and want a chance to practice and maintain their language skills over the summer. Camp will run from 8:00am-12:00pm Monday through Friday at Woodcrest Elementary. Students may sign up for either or both weeks of camp. Please make sure to register for each week separately if you would like to sign your child up for both weeks. Note for Learning Ventures Families: If your student is also in Learning Ventures the week of Spanish Immersion Camp, we can shuttle students back to the High School for P.M. Learning Ventures care. You will receive a 25% credit back of the Spanish Immersion Camp fee if your student is also in Learning Ventures during the week of Spanish Immersion Camp.
