Discovery Days is for kids ages 3-5 and provides kindergarten readiness for your child and child care while you work.
Learning Ventures Child Care programs are for for school-age children in grades K - 6th grade. We provide child care before- and after-school from 6:30 am - 6 pm at each Elementary. Non-School Days are at Centerview Elementary.
Preschool prepares children for kindergarten by incorporating literacy, math, science, social studies, art, social/emotional development, and physical development into its curriculum. Preschool is aligned with the SLP Schools kindergarten program.

Destination Imagination: Unleash Creativity and Innovation!
What Is Destination Imagination?
Destination Imagination (DI) is a global program that inspires kids to explore their creativity, problem-
solving, and teamwork skills through fun, hands-on challenges. Participants work together to design
imaginative solutions that combine science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM).
Who Can Join?
Community Ed is partnering with two 5th grade parents to put together a club that will meet once a
week to introduce the group to DI and do Instant Challenges
Instant Challenges are fast-paced activities where students work together to solve a creative task in a
limited amount of time. They can be performance-based, task-based, or a combination of both, and
they really emphasize teamwork, problem-solving, and thinking outside the box.
